ELKO COUNTY, Nevada — Human remains that were found earlier this month in Elko County, Nevada have been identified as a woman who has been missing for a year.
Someone found the remains in the Adobe Mountain Range area on Sept. 17. They were sent to a medical examiner's office, and on Monday the Elko County Sheriff's Office announced they belonged to Elizabeth (also known as Beth) Agee-Morrison, who was reported missing in September 2019 by her family.
In the year-long search for Agee-Morrison, the sheriff's office has also been looking for Doug Hegge, who was reported missing around the same time and was believed to have been with her.
A tip line for information on both of their disappearances has been set up. Anyone with potentially helpful information is asked to call 775-748-1684.
