SALT LAKE CITY — Boart Longyear, a Salt Lake City-based drilling company, has settled a discrimination case with a former employee and the federal government.
The company will pay about $175,000 to a Black worker after the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission found the employee was harassed on a job site in Elko, Nevada in 2021 and 2022
