SALT LAKE CITY — One of Tracy Aviary's most beloved birds has passed away.

On Wednesday, the aviary announced the death of Inca, a female red-billed toucan.

Inca was hatched in 2008 at the Dallas World Aquarium and moved to Salt Lake in 2010.

The aviary said Inca was a bird show ambassador and has been since she arrived at Liberty Park.

Inca has been in "countless educational bird shows ... delivering nose-to-beak encounters with guests for almost two decades," the aviary wrote.
