EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — A few thousand homes or businesses lost power Monday evening in Eagle Mountain.
Rocky Mountain Power said an outage was impacting 2,700 customers in the area, including those in zip codes 84005 and 84013.
The outage was first reported around 6 p.m. Around 8 p.m., the number of customers without power was 960. All power was restored by 10 p.m.
The company said the outage was due to a damaged transformer at a substation. They were able to route most customers onto a different transformer. Updates can be found on the company's website HERE.
