PROVO, Utah — Officials confirm one person is dead after a small plane crashed into a body of water just south of the Provo Airport Friday afternoon. One more person is being rescued from the plane.
Provo Airport officials believe that the small plane took off from Provo shortly before it went down.
Rescue crews have made contact one the survivor, who was reported to be in moderate to severe condition. They have also confirmed a second person was on board the plane and died in the crash.
