Victim released from hospital, suspects at large after shooting in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police are searching for multiple suspects in a shooting that put one person in the hospital Monday evening.

West Jordan Police said the shooting occurred around 6 p.m. near 5000 West and 8500 South.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. WJPD said in a later update that the man was stable and recovering. Then on Tuesday morning, they said he was released from the hospital.

Another person was also assaulted, according to police.

As of Tuesday morning, police were still looking for multiple suspects. An exact number, description or other information was not provided.

Officials added that they believe this was an isolated incident.
