The two members of the Box Elder County Commission who face challengers in the 2026 Republican Primary Election are trailing in early voting results.

Boyd Bingham and Lee Perry had been heavily criticized recently after voting to approve the massive Stratos Project data center project in an unincorporated area in their county.

As of 10 p.m., Bingham (3,355 votes) was trailing by 4 percent to Vance Smith (3,593 votes).

At the same time, Perry (3,256) was 6 points behind Nathan Tueller (3,709).
