Flight #2123 landed safely at Salt Lake City International Airport around 4 p.m.

Delta said the flight was diverted out of an "abundance of caution" after an indicator warning of a possible engine problem on the Boeing 757.

A report claims airport crews found no damage.

The emergency landing comes just days after anengine on a United Airlines flight to Hawaii caught fire after leaving Denver International Airport. Debris from the plane fell over several neighborhoods in the area.

Nobody on the flight or on the ground was injured.

United announced Sunday that it was grounding 24 of its Boeing 777 aircraft powered by the same Pratt & Whitney 4000 series engines involved in Sunday's fire.
