SALT LAKE CITY — A driver was killed Thursday morning after being ejected from a vehicle that plunged into a ravine off Interstate 215.
following a crash just before 6:00 a.m. on northbound I-215 near 3000 South.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, the unidentified driver was heading east on I-215 before taking the ramp to westbound I-80 when their vehicle went off the highway and rolled down the ravine, ejecting the driver.
It's isn't known what led the driver to leave the road, but no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
