FARMINGTON, Utah — It's the end of an era for one of Lagoon Amusement Park's oldest rides.
The park announced Wednesday that this is the last season of the "Jet Star 2" roller coaster. The red and yellow ride made its debut in 1976, boasting 1,900 feet of track. It will be retired at the end of the season.
"Don’t worry- the park is planning a worthy successor!" the announcement read, although no further details were given.
Lagoon's final day of the 2025 season is Nov. 9.
