With Gaulden, 24, waiving the preliminary hearing, he has been bound over for trial with an arraignment now set for July 1, where he will officially enter a plea in the case.

Gaulden faces nearly 50 charges after being arrested on April 16 following a search warrant being executed at his home near Huntsville. The rapper is alleged to have run a prescription drug ring that fraudulently obtained drugs from several state pharmacies.

Court documents claim Gaulden called in a prescription supposedly for a 74-year-old woman to a pharmacy in Hyrum in September, and also claimed to be a physician in the Provo area, using a valid DEA number and other identification for the real doctor.

Other incidents of similar nature involving Gaulden allegedly occurred at Cache County pharmacies.
