MILLCREEK, Utah — The city of Millcreek has removed a mysterious Flock camera.

The camera was located at about 3200 South and Highland Drive. But no one knows who put it there or why. No city department or Unified Police know who put it there.

Mayor Cheri Jackson said in a newsletter to residents that it’s been removed and it appears to have been dormant for some time. She says it wasn’t transmitting anything, but it may have been there since 2022.

The mayor says the land it was on was purchased by the city. One theory is it was installed by a private property owner at that time. Another theory is UPD used to have a contract with Flock but hasn’t in years, and Flock never removed it.
