PROVO, Utah — A bear was spotted in a Provo neighborhood Wednesday morning.
Provo Police said they received two calls from residents who saw the bear near the east bench of the city around 10:30 a.m.
Animal control and Utah Division of Wildlife Resources personnel responded but were not able to find the bear. They believe it retreated back up into the foothills.
Officials believe it was a juvenile black bear.
