SALT LAKE CITY — A large fire is burning in Salt Lake City on Monday afternoon along Redwood Road and 500 South.

Several cameras in the area show a large plume of black smoke rising from the fire.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department said the fire is mostly exterior and that people are being told to avoid Orange Street to allow access for fire crews and equipment.
