KANE COUNTY, Utah — Officials announced that human remains were found at Lake Powell after being spotted by a group on a houseboat last week.
On August 14, Kane County officials were notified about possible human remains located on Lake Powell. National Park Service rangers arrived and collected the remains, which were then transported to the Utah State Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy and possible identification.
The case remains under investigation.
