WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — Just one-fourth of a mile from Pine Valley is a rapidly growing wildfire, with officials now mandating evacuations for the Southern Utah community Thursday evening.
The Forsyth Fire, which is estimated to be between 500 and 1,000 acres, was spotted in Washington County Thursday Evening. Firefighters say they have 0% containment on the fire.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time and no structures have been lost due to the fire.
