Utah Transit Authority officials are warning riders to expect continuing delays following up to hour-long delays caused by a mechanical issue in the TRAX system on Friday morning.
UTA posted to social media just before 6:00 a.m. on Friday to say riders should expect up to an hour-long delay from 900 South, River Trail, and Meadowbrook due to the issue. They didn't specify what the issue is.
At 9:02 a.m., UTA announced that the issues had been resolved, but delays could continue as trains begin service again.
Riders in need of assistance can call or message 801-743-3882.
