SUBLETTE COUNTY, Utah — Video recently released shows crews rescuing a man and his two dogs from a partially-submerged truck in the icy Green River.

The Sublette County Sheriff's Office, along with Tip Top Search and Rescue crews, responded after being called to the scene on Dec. 27. Upon arriving, the man was still in his truck as it sat in freezing waters in zero-degree temperatures.

Sheriff's deputies and Sublette County Unified Fire personnel were able to get the driver out of the truck using a ladder extended from the riverbank.

Tip Top crews were then able to remove the dogs from the cab of the truck, and then assisted in getting the vehicle out of the water.

A second tow truck was called in after crews were unable to attach a winch to the frame of the truck due to it being underwater.

The driver was taken to the hospital for evaluation, but his condition or what led him to the river is unknown.
