HURRICANE, Utah — A 66-year-old Hurricane woman has passed away from her injuries following her being struck by a vehicle while in a crosswalk on Tuesday.
Tammy Lynn Crouse was identified by Hurricane police as the victim in the crash. Investigators say Crouse was struck by a truck while in the crosswalk at 12:54 p.m., at the intersection of 700 West and State Street.
She was taken to the hospital but passed away from her injuries.
The Hurricane Police Department says the incident can serve as a reminder for drivers to slow down, remain alert, and be aware of their surroundings while driving.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
