SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — A new brush fire that started on Tuesday in Salt Lake County on eastbound Interstate 80 is now under control.
The fire was located east of the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office and burned grass and shrubbery near the highway. The fire was estimated at approximately 50 by 100 feet when crews arrived.
The cause of the fire has been made available, and any traffic slowdowns have ended.
