ORDERVILLE, Utah — The Mineral Gulch Fire, which ignited Saturday along US-9 near Orderville, has grown to 86 acres as of Sunday.

Officials confirm it started near where Mineral Springs Road meets US-9, due west of Burnt Flat Gulch. They say it is human-caused, but the exact cause is not yet known.

Firefighters continue to make progress as they work to secure the fire perimeter. The public is asked to avoid the area and give emergency responders plenty of room to work.
