SALT LAKE CITY — The ramp from southbound I-215 to westbound I-80 is closed following a semi truck rolling over.
The crash was first reported by UDOT at 11:53 a.m. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the semi with two trailers was taking the ramp when the back trailer, which was hauling garbage, rolled.
UDOT crews are in route with dump trucks and loaders to pick up the trash. While work is happening, the ramp will be closed to traffic.
UDOT estimates that the ramp will reopen by 6:00 p.m.
