SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — One person was killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 in Salt Lake County on Saturday.
The Utah Highway Patrol said three vehicles were involved in the incident on eastbound I-80 near the Great Saltair.
The identity or age of the person killed in the accident has not been released. No details about what caused the incident have been shared.
All eastbound lanes have been shut down, with traffic being diverted to SR-201 while the scene is cleared.
